Care@Work
The Care@Work program by Care.com gives you access to quality care providers, so you can find the right person to care for your child, aging parent, and even your pet while you’re at work. You can also use this service to find tutors and housekeepers. Care.com specialists screen qualified caregivers and conduct a needs assessment to make sure you find the help you’re looking for.
You are also eligible for discounts on products and services designed to support your lifestyle with LifeMart through Care@Work. You are eligible for LifeMart discounts even if you don’t yet need child or elder backup care.
How it works
Through the Care@Work website or app, you have access to the caregiver database to search for caregivers and separate backup care support for your loved ones. You’ll receive personalized support from care specialists who get to know your needs and preferences.
Caregivers can assist with the following:
Backup care for your children: Help during school holidays, sick days and last-minute sitter cancellations.
Backup care for adult seniors: Rides to doctor appointments, meal preparation and help when your loved one is recovering from surgery.
Eligibility: Care@Work is available to all Mountaineers.
What it costs: When you enroll in the Care@Work program, you can receive Company-subsidized child or adult backup care for up to 10 days a year. For backup care, you pay $4 per hour for child or adult care in the home, $24 per child per day in a child care center.
