What to do
Inform the Iron Mountain Benefits Center of your loss
Call the Iron Mountain Benefits Center (US/PR) at 877-907-4828, Monday through Friday, 8 am – 9 pm ET.
These caring representatives will provide you with easy-to-follow instructions on how to address impacts to benefits during this difficult time. They also coordinate with carriers in a timely manner as needed so you can focus on other important matters.
This service team also assists dependents in the unfortunate case of the passing of an active employee.
Resources for Living is available to you and your household members for grief support, counseling, funeral planning, and estate assistance. They can also research, on your behalf, to locate funeral homes, florists, churches, cemeteries, direct cremation providers, and other services to lift some of the burden of finding and making arrangements. Please contact Resources for Living any time of day, seven days a week, to discuss the support you need.

Life insurance: If your Iron Mountain Benefits elections include life insurance for your loved one, a claim will be initiated on your behalf. A representative from our life insurance carrier, Lincoln Financial Group, will reach out to you within 48 hours (after the claim is submitted) for any documentation needed.
